Julie Holton is the Principal Strategist of mConnexions, a full-service marketing agency that develops marketing solutions for clients. A three-time Emmy award-winning writer, tv producer & executive producer, Julie has extensive media and communication experience. She currently hosts two podcasts and is a featured author in numerous blogs and publications.
Julie’s strengths have always been tied to building connections. Life is all about relationships, right? The same is true for business and marketing.
With strategic branding, digital marketing, and content creation at its core, mConnexions builds, implements, and manages custom marketing strategies to help businesses grow. Building connections is at the heart of what we do!
Before launching mConnexions in 2017, Julie led the strategic marketing directives for a mid-sized law firm of nearly 50 attorneys practicing 70+ areas of law at three offices across Michigan. She continues her work in legal marketing as a member of the Editorial Committee and as issue co-editor for the Legal Marketing Association’s Strategies Magazine.
Julie also works extensively with non-profit organizations. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter. She serves as Secretary of the Board’s Executive Leadership, and chairs the Board’s ‘Concern and Awareness’ Committee. Julie also works as a mentor and media strategist for Grit, Glam & Guts and Voices of Color.
Prior to working in marketing and communications, Julie spent more than ten years working in top television newsrooms across the country, as an Emmy award-winning writer, producer, and executive producer. Julie worked with her news teams to develop digital and social media strategies – even before social media sites began to peak in popularity. She maintains her strong network of connections in TV newsrooms across the country.
Though a close second to #bossbabe, Julie’s favorite title is actually Aunt. It’s no secret that her nieces and nephew are the little loves of her life, along with her two pups, Lucy and Schatzi.
